This facade of an independent bungalow in Greater Kailash was part of a renovation project that came our way in the year 2006-07. With the home originally built in the 1970s most of its original facade and interiors had worn off. In addition the owner wanted to make structural changes to the layout of the house without causing too much breakage. Without the original floor plan present, the team took on the arduous challenge of redrafting the original structural plans to understand how to reinforce the foundation while still conforming to the changes requested by the owner. All the addition/alteration work had to be carried out with a sensitivity towards the owner’s family already residing in the house. The owner was so happy with our workmanship and professionalism that even today, 14 years post completion of his home, he still regularly contacts the firm for either minor upgrades in interiors or word of mouth referrals.
