The internal courtyard of an art studio- residential project that we undertook in the year 2017. This property and its work belong to the family of one India’s finest sculptures- Late Amarnath Sehgal. Each individual element is placed on its own imposing granite patio to maximise space and easy viewing from all directions. The architecture of the building allows for public viewing of the gallery while at the same time maintaining the privacy of the residents. An interesting challenge during this contract was that the entire building was built while the sculptures in the image were left exposed in the then undeveloped courtyard of the property. This required special care and extreme finesse in workmanship on our part to ensure no damage came on the priceless artefacts.
